Congrats on getting your car back
I remember the day I got mine back. I was terrified to drive her. Especially since it was snowing and she normaly gets stored well before the snow ever fell
Well driving was scary as hell. Every intersection, every other car on the road
It was brutal. Worst part is I has to park her right away and store. By springtime. I had already gotten comfortable driving again normally. Took the Camaro out and was nervous. So I said screw it. Took her down a country road and just drove her hard until I lost my fear
And went back to normal. Still get a little antsy when I approach busy intersections but I still drive her the same as I always did

ahh yeah it sucks :(
Just keep driving her around and eventually it will go away. I got hit at a busy intersection so when I approach one I still get nervous.
It will go away with time, but it will go away faster if you try driving the fear out of you (if that makes sense) lol For me, it was taking her to some back roads and pushing her.

PS have you thought about afterburners?
Im almost done the install, you think driving is scary, try cutting open your tail lights and watching plastic melt

It looks good. I never noticed your bowtie was color matched as well. What other upgrades do you have planned? Perhaps color matched stitching in the interior. That would really stand out.

How do you do the stitching on cloth seats? I hear it bleeds if you use a dye.

You just got it back? Damn that took forever! My car had around the same damage and i dropped it off on a Thursday, picked it up the following Wednesday. Either way, congrats on getting your baby back. About the rims, did you ever get new ones? I know when you posed that your car was damaged you were looking into rims (Just a bit of curiosity).

You don't dye the existing stitches, you restitch the seats with colored thread one stitch at a time. Takes about 1 hour per seat. Check out the threads on these seats compared to the plain jane white stitching on my car. The Camaro seats should be doable the same way since it's similar piping on both types of cars. I am not sure what tranny Ponte has, but if she has a manual she could carry the colored thread through the shifter boot and shifter. It would certainly stand out. (Especially with the shoes)
