I don't suppose anyone has been able to order a 45th just yet, have they?

No, at least not with a price anyway. People have preliminary orders in with their respective dealers.

I'm waiting for a price before i hand over any money. If it's too much of a difference between the 2SS price i'm going for the 2SS.

EDIT: Why is it that in these photos the car looks black and not metallic black? I've seen both colors in person and there's a serious difference between the two: http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2012-...sary-edition-1

Kiya,

Is your CTS a V-Series? I assume not as you'll be disappointed in the Camaro, lol.

The new synergy series cost 10K extra with the upgraded wheels. I hope they're more reasonable on the 45th or just a plan 2SS for me too.

On the color issue, I feel like pictures don't do IOM justice either.

Order at status 1100 since 4.16.2011 with no movement on it since then. As per Becky R, there is a temporary constraint on 45th parts that should be lifted soon. She gave a rough timeframe of 2-3 weeks in her post to me a week or so ago, so I am making myself wait until 6.15 before I do an online status check :emoticon7:

Does the Synergy Series cars really cost that much more? The wheels certainly aren't that expensive alone...

For Level II, yes $9995. I guess they're justifying it by a limited run, 500 units. I had my heart set it on before I realized a ZL1 would be a more "sensible" move.....

Level one (RPO: AJA) includes the content listed on the attached hero card
except the 21” wheels and tires. The MSRP for this option package level is
$4995, plus the model and other option prices, and destination charges (but
excluding tax, title and other fees).

Level two (RPO: AJB) includes the content listed on the attached hero card
AND the dealer-installed 21” wheels and tires. The MSRP for this option
package level is $9995, plus the model and other option prices, and
destination charges (but excluding tax, title and other fees).

For the 50% you who may not like the stripe on the 45th edition, looks like you can opt to not include it in your order: "DX3 - Stripe, delete".

Be forwarned, 85% of you will later wish you didn't remove it!

the stripes on the 45th edition look GOOD! tried getting them done but with RS instead of the 45th, but they said it'll be risky to outline and cut the strip on the body, it may scratch it up.. :/ so allow it.

I wasn't crazy about them at first but I like them now. Can't wait to see it in person.

So just throwing out an idea...
How about painting the engine cover wih the same color pattern of the 45th as the hood just above it? I think that would look cool and unique. Can anybody photoshop that to see how it would look?

I think that striping is sexy and different. The steering wheel? Meh, whatever- but I've never bought a car for a steering wheel. Would really like to get the 45th, as long as every a$$hole on the block doesn't get one too.
