No these are used engines but those prices are shipped to my shop. LFX engines are a dime a dozen, that's why I wasn't scared to push mine. You can pick one up with around 40k for 1000-1100 shipped. Long blocks from other LFX cars work too just have to swap the oil pan and intake manifold.

There is one on a site called car monkey for $3k I think it has like 8k on it. With a 5 year warranty and is guaranteed to be a direct swap and everything. I believe it's a '12 LFX though.

Here's a thought... instead of buying another engine, assuming there are no big holes in the block and only the cylinder wall is messed up... Think about having it sleeved? Darton makes a sleeve that will allow you to go to 98mm bore, (3.9L), if you leave 1mm for future repairs it would be 97mm and a 3.8L.

Last time I talked to Darton the sleeve set was $1800.

That would be pretty cool, but there's a hole in the side of the block. It was hiding under one of the motor mount brackets. It was the middle cylinder where the rod and piston were fine, probably a piece of carnage got in between the rotating assembly and the block wall. I don't know why I didn't post pics of the block, it's pretty chewed up in there. I'm off tomorrow but I'll post some pics on Thursday.

Here's the windage tray, looks like when the rod broke it turned face down and punched a hole through it.

I've already been thinking about making a table lol. I've got a couple ideas... Nice thing is it's light enough to pick up and carry around. I weighed the bare block and it's only 75lbs.

Both cylinder head assemblies look to be ok so I'll have a spare set of heads to play around with too.

That's not bad. nothing that a good buffer can't knocked out.

On a serious note are you planning to add forged internals to the engine so it can handle the boost you have on the car from now on ? Or removing the turbos entirely ?
