One of my pet peeves with restored cars is when I see a very nice example and then notice emblems either not in the right place or installed crooked... If you are going to that much time and money get the details right..

Angrybird12, you could have said that at least your car came with a spoiler. The antenna is on the right rear and will hit his added spoiler when he raises the trunk. His car is not supposed to have stripes also. He's probably got a 10 bolt rear end and a single leaf spring. I could go on, Rag on me, be prepared

1st day I got the car is the 1st and last time I got a bad comment. Basically I was driving down and a guy gave me the middle finger while I was driving past his parked car. But now that I think about it, maybe it was a thumbs up? But other then that all good comments. I live in ny.

Had a lady come up to me one day as I finished parking... she said, 'that's a nice mustang'... I said, 'oh no, its a Camaro'. That's the worst thing anyone's ever said about my ride, lol...

Beyond that, mostly no comments but the occasional older guy complimenting the ride. The latest was on my trip to Bakersfield last Saturday. I was at a gas station off I-5 and he parked on the other side of the pump... said he loved my rims. I said, thanks, and soon after told him and his wife to have a good day (it was early in the morning).

Never had anyone flip me off, or anything of the sort. Most people in Cali tend to mind their own business...

I have had people speed up to me and while doing that they shake their head. And all I was doing was cruising......haters gonna hate.
