I, too, ordered it without seeing anything ABM, except for what I was pretty sure was the same color on the HHR. I'm still not convinced that what I had in mind is what I got (I could have sworn the older "ABM" HHRs had a purple flash), I LOVE my paint.

Some time before receiving my car (while I still had the option to change the paint), I saw an ABM Colorado close to sunset and freaked out because I thought it looked like straight teal. So glad I looked at it again at a different time of day and even gladder that ABM seems to work better on the Camaro than on any of the other models. Ever seen an ABM Impala?

I also ordered sight unseen, hoping for the best. My first choice was IBM but I decided it was too dark so I changed to RJT when I placed the order. Four weeks later I decided to change as I had a similar color on my first Camaro. I had seen one ABM picture on C5 and that was the one that sold me. A onth before my car was delivered I saw an ABM when I was in Houston and I knew it was the right choice.

When I read that someone said it's the same color on the HHR I about $hit a brick when I saw this color on the HHR

But then in this thread people were showing other pictures of it in Aqua Blue and I was like okay good must be a different color. Glad it was, I would have been a Sad Panda for sure.

I pulled into my dealer and it was shining so bright I was amazed this is not the same Aqua Blue as on the HHR and Colorado. (I know that it is) It looks completely different on the Camaro I agree. It looks 10 times better.

I bought my ABM in February 2010, i had a guy looking all over for one. I just told him i wanted the color and forget about everything else. I wanted the 2SS with the manual and got the 2SS with the automatic upgrade. I was pissed but i got my color! I am stopped all the time and given the thumbs up. My best story was a guy standing by my car in a parking lot waiting for me to come out, he offered me a lot of money for it. I turned him down! This will stay in my family, my daughter wants it now, too bad!

I also ordered JAZiMAN with never seeing the Aqua Blue Metalic on a Camaro or any other car.
In fact I didn't see ABM it until 1 month before delivery, when a friend of my received his SS.
At any rate, I think these pictures will explain why WE ALL LOVE ABM.

Trust me it wasn't retirement money. He offered $35K cash. Not bad for a 2 year old, but not the car and color are not replaceable.
