I don't care WHERE it is.. but it needs to be LONGER.. add more days to it!
4 days to/from for 2 days racing.. THE FEST NEEDS TO BE 5 DAYS LONG! |

I am okay with keeping it in Indianapolis if they can add new things to it. (ie. parade laps around the brickyard) I also know its very hard to plan a venue as big as this is. So I do think keeping everything the same for one more year and allowing time to iron out things wouldn't be bad. Just because the fest remains in one location sure as hell won't make the parking lot parties any worse. ![]() To the person who said bring it back to where everything started...I had a chat with a mod about that....problem is we are at the point of being too big for that venue. (I would be all for that 3 hour drive vs. 8 )

Ive gone back and forth, up and down, heck even left and right over this, racking my brain...
and I'm sure the mods have too... after seeing how the last 3 have gone, I more than have confidence that they will provide a quality product. That said from what I have heard they have a good handle on what they want to do... Have a little faith?

![]() We had a discussion about this regarding how the Hot Rod Power Tour pretty much stays in the Central US now. Sure they have readers everywhere, but the bulk of their subscribers are in this area, and they know that. I know everybody would love to have the fest in their hometown, but I think keeping it centrally located is crucial to a good turnout. Indy has the racing history and ability to handle major events. Our city is accessible from all sides and within a days drive to many locations. We are also close for GM to bring their cars and employees to. If we could get the Speedway involved, there is your cruise location AND laps on the track. I vote for an autox on the F1 track .

Im going to throw one out there that I haven't seen mentioned that would be a very good selection. I also love the idea of keeping it in Indy next year as well.

I vote for Vegas only if it's early. Or Texas motor speedway.

The F1 track in Austin will host the first race in November. It should be ready to host other events soon after that. There's a lot to do in the central Texas area. I'm not sure about other race facilities in the area. I think there is another motorsport track somewhere close.

How about Kansas City? Seems like a central spot for anyone in the US?
