Yes your Camaro has a TPW of 10/26/2009. I believe that is at the end of the original production period which was estimated to be the 19th to the 26th.

What this may mean for us is that our cars will be worth more as a collectors items as they are first year production cars of the 5th Gen Camaro. Woo Hoo... Of course I am only guessing here but hey... MAYBE...

I got this reply in response to a request of why my TPW was moved back a week. Again I guess it's logistics, but I was originally quoted 10-19-09. He has never been able to change one, but he is going to talk to the Chev Rep for my area since I am scheduled to return to Brazil for a month about the time our cars should be arriving.

It's not that I don't want to be a part of the 10-26 club, but you guys understand...

There is more than one person in my family that is getting excited. We are selling our 06 V6 Mazda 6 to my daughter and son-in-law who are both in the Navy. So, it will be an early Xmas present for them too.

Well I caved and had to request an update myself. I need to see 3300!

I wonder if the plant has been working longer shifts this week trying to build ahead a little for their time off.

Time to start another day. Another day closer to production!

Funny how much of an adrenaline rush it was to have our event codes bumped up to 3300. The anticipation is going to be unreal when we reach 3800 and we start the wait for delivery.

So what other vehicles are owned by the 10/19 crew?

I just bought my wife a new Chevy Traverse a couple of weeks ago. Great family vehicle. She drove a 2006 Pontiac Torrent that I am trying to sell now. I drive a 2002 Silverado that I will either sell or trade-in on the Camaro, and we have a 17 year old son who drives a 2008 Pontiac G5.

Nothing but GM at my house!

we have a 2001 silver PT Cruiser that is in showroom condition for our daily driver and my work / hobby truck is a 1986 GMC...longbed fleetside...silver with grey interior {originally maroon interior...last winters project }...new 350 GM crate motor...headers and dual ex.......lifted 9 inches...35's and really nicely restored to origuinal altho I do plow snow but not comercially any more...now I only do my own driveway

I think the rush will really hit when we hit 3400 and know they are building our cars. We'll want to know every detail..........anyone else wish they had live webcams in the factory....so we could watch our babies being born.

The 3300 has to be seen to be believed.

I think they scheduled fewer cars for production for the 10/5 and 10/12 weeks....they have just a few people on their threads. Of course I guess it only takes one or two "talkative" people on a thread to really get it going.

There are a few good dealers on the boards here who have available cars. I just hope you can find a car that meets all your requirements in stock some where.
