That's correct. Stock heads for the hook up

10psi is about as high as you want to go on a stock engine with a safe tune. If you rarely beat on the car, it will last longer than if you are constantly driving it wildly.

You won't be able to use your long tube headers with the AGP kit or any other setup that places the turbo(s) anywhere near the engine bay. A rear mount setup allows use of long tube headers though.

Anyone buy this yet? Are you satisfied with it? What are the results?

There have been a few... I haven't seen a single one say anything bad about it at all and everyone has been extremely satisfied. My car is enroute soon back to me and I haven't driven it since the TT install. Joe@CPR said it is "f&$*ing silly" fast compared to the Ysi it had before.

I am sure I have missed a thread or two but this will give you an idea.

My build thread >1000rwhp with S261s

Mylftft's build thread >1000rwhp with S261s

SGDM's build thread
~675rwhp with S251s

Another SGDM thread

Dreksnot's thread ~650rwhp with S251s

HarryNW's thread ~650rwhp with S251s

Levischilz's thread ~688rwhp with S256s

To add to those threads there are a bunch more out there.

10-12psi with enough octane (meth, race gas, torco) is doable on stock motor. You can get a boost controller and set it wherever you want. Have it at 6psi making 530-550rwhp for daily for better traction/etc then just set it to 10 and make 650+.

Long tubes would not work. Stock manifolds or ARH shorties even though stock manifolds are good for 1200+hp. Figure you can sell your long tubes and get $500-1000 back to put towards the kit. Same thing with a catchcan, cai, etc. Kit comes with everything. Every vacuum line, nut, fitting, etc for a stock car. Catchcans (kit comes with 2), plugs, fuel pump, high end matched injectors (850cc with data, extremely similar to ID850s), vbanded housings, ceramic coating on all hot parts (turbine, downpipes, adapters).

I think they've changed the kit to use one catch can instead of two. Mine only came with one.

Maybe, that would make sense. I know Blakes has two still and Kevins has two. I'm still trying to grab one of their cans for my car since they are really nice for big power cars.

Very nice builds. I love the placement of the turbos as well. I was leaning towards a D1SC but not sure anymore.

You would make more torque, have more upgradability, easier boost control and if you want to make 700rwhp probably spend less in the end.

I also have a tuner kit here for our L99.
ID for the injectors. As for the fuel system, either ADM/LPE or Squash.
Still waiting on Squash for the release.
No panic to install it.We have a foot of snow here with cold temps.....

I drove the shop car for 4 days as a rental car when I visited Phoenix. It was crazy. ~10.5psi made 680rwhp/740rwtq. The highway passing was crazy, gas mileage was better than stock, torque was crazy. That was a L99 auto car with turbo kit and exhaust. Go look what it would take for a maggie/vortech/etc car to make that power.

Matt, get more pictures of the intercooler and all the cool parts.
Please educate me a little. How did the addition of the turbo kit improve gas mileage over that of OEM, with no other mods accounted for? I understand this was a otherwise stock L99 platform with some type of exhaust mod beyond the turbos? The kit itself looks very impressive. I`m just curious how the addition of two turbos improved fuel comsumption without altering the valvetrain.

I do not yet. Still on stock differential. I'm saving up for a 9" and then I'm hitting the track for some times.
