Can anyone tell me how essential the rear bolt is? It's such a pain. How do u get it back in under the tin flap?

You really shouldn't leave any of the bolts out, it could potentially cause a vacuum leak... The rear bolt must be pre-installed into the intake/spacer combo before you put the intake on the car to get it to clear the cowl. it can be a PITA, but it can be done.

I left mine out and haven't had any issues yet but leaving it out is your call, otherwise you have to do what RacnJsn said and have it pre-installed in the intake manifold before putting it back on.

Yeah that was a no brainer, put in in the back hole on the manifold they put the manifold in...But who am I...Why 25MM??? 25MM but only 5 bolts... Why not 10mm or some people call it 3/8th and six bolts easy...Enjoy.

I new I would screw that up lol! I even contemplated dremeling out the smallest section of tin and dropping it in. How many miles have you had yours in for? I assume you still give the accelerator hell? 18ft lbs sound about right for tork on the bolts?

A good 10k miles like that and you believe I drive it hard! Run it in the 1/4mile and zero issues at all.

Another thought and sorry for bothering you. I assume since the intake manifold is now 1 inch higher that the throttle body bolt you take out from the start is no longer used along with the two small bolts that come out the back of the manifold? That I swear is my last question lol
