I'm in the mist of doing my install I too had the red plastic plug brass installed. Just trying to figure out how to get that belt on now. I know I saw a post about it. Great posting though I had the intercooler in and was like wait a minute! I know I read somewhere about a brass plug!

Well lets hope Lingenfelter already knows about this- they are installing mine right now.

You gotta like a company who supports "Blown" joking!!

With customer service like that you are going to force me to purchase the chrome maggie instead of the KB when I am ready.

Magnuson SuperCharger

I installed a Magnuson TVS 2300 with three other Air Force brothers and had the issue with the plug. We had everything installed and after I poured the coolant (decided on green and not dexcool) I noticed antifreeze all over the ground. We were all upset because we followed the instructions. Needless to say one of the guys checked the plastic bag and found the brass screw. fortunately its on the top. Installed the screw and 20 THOUSAND MILES later I have yet to have ANY issues with the Maggie. I havent called Magnuson at all after the install because I havent needed to. GREAT!!! product. What I would like to say is before I received the supercharger they were having issues with a supplier and had to build mine the same day I showed to pick it up. Great Company with phenomenal customer service. thanks MAGNUSON

All why I have the TVS 2300 (Livernois installed) under the hood of my 2010 Camaro ......... proud and happy owner. With 20K km on the SC I can vouch for it. Thanks Magna !

THANKS FOR THE POST!!!!

I'm actually in the process of puttting my Maggie in this weekend and had the same issue. Thanks to you, I didnt have a repeat performance. Sucked to remove the fans and remove the radiator mounts AGAIN to install the brass plug but it sure beats what happened with you. Props to Magnuson for the customer service. Can't wait to see how this thing pulls after I complete the install!

Thanks again!
