Its not? Then why do I manually have to turn it off using the competitive button?

Depending on how many times and how long you press the button, you are either turning off Traction Control or Stability Control or both...you are not turning off LAUNCH CONTROL. 2 quick taps TURNS IT ON. You are not launching the car by default, are you, so why would u think Launch Control is a default setting? Read the manual.

Chevy warranty:
http://www.chevrolet.com/owners/warranty/ See "whats not covered". Since the car is equipped with the feature, it is safe to assume it is not "misuse". If you are concerned about "perception of the warranty" here are the restrictions on that: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuso...s_Warranty_Act Pretty much if it is not specifically defined, it cannot be denied. For those that I have read recently commenting about removeing bolt-on mods before going to the dealer(not necessarily in this post)...see these threads/posts by fbodfather: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...light=warranty see post 18 and http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...arranty&page=2 see post 38 I for one would be upset if there were a warranty problem after a parts failure from a Competitive Launch. The dealers cannot just "void your warranty". If they can prove something broke due to changes you or yours made, then that part is no longer warranteed. If you put new exhaust on the car that does not void the engine warranty. If you use a feature the car has and something breaks - warranty My $.02 SSN8R (I am not a lawyer, nor do I play one on T.V.) PS I didn't see anything in the above links about NOOBs or rubber in the wheel wells voiding warranties.

Dude, never mind the output shaft issue. It is dead horse. How do you like the 2011 GT500? Seriously, I am scared to go and look at one because I just know I would end up driving home in it and sleeping on the couch for weeks. Galpin keeps calling me to come down.

I got a stock '06 300c SRT8, and it will beat my stock 2011 Camaro SS. Those SRT8's are wicked fast for a heavy @ss sedan! Put a Diablo 93 octane tune on it, and they really go! They get their best pulls from a rolling start.
