Age does not dictate enthusiasm.

IMO, it doesn't matter one iota how old you are.

If you enjoy owning, driving, and having fun in a Camaro, that is all that matters.

Don't worry about "being too old for a Camaro!" YOU ARE NOT!!!

Just sold my 4th gen Z28 (65,000 miles) to make room for the 2SS-RS. In 1969, I could only admire my neighbor's SS as my young family needed all of my income. No such thing as disposable income or fun money back then. Now, at 66, it is MY turn to have a real toy and enjoy that "young at heart" experience on a daily basis.
By the way, the day my Camaro arrives, I plan on being at our police station at shift change so all the officers can get a good look...I'll need friends on the force.

Yes this car is just for the "kids", by that I mean people who are young at heart. This is the kind of car you buy because you want it, you don't buy it because you need it. The other part of being called a kid is about image, honestly you shouldn't care about what other people think, you should be more worried about making yourself happy. If the Camaro makes you happy (and you can afford it) you should own it.

I don't care how old you are this car is for everyone.

Hell I'm 23 in a few days newly divorced (my ex and depolyments did not mix well) and I've been watching concept grow to what it is today and I remember thinking at the beginning of this depolyment how awesome it would be if I could pull one off but how I wouldn't be able to, it would have been the 2nd depolyment when I was drooling over a car and couldn't afford it afterward, but now with the divorce and reduction in bills I can pull it off and I'm excited as ever

Hell I'm more excited about getting my camaro than about getting back to the US

A kick car and a warranty? I'm all about having fun and being lazy at the same time!
My first new car was a new 70 1/2 SS350 Camaro with the 300 horse engine. That was almost exactly 40 years ago. I was twenty years old then. (you figure it out).

If the new Camaro looks in metal as good as it looks in photos, I just might buy another one once more.

But, I've had lot's of interesting cars since then and my tastes have changed a little over the years. I'm no longer a hot rodder. I'm personally glad they are offering a decent suspension system and an engine with direct injection now. About time GM brought their sporty cars into the twenty first century.

If they put stuff like a GPS nav, a decent manual gearbox and some decent brakes on it, I'll have to put one in the garage.

The overall best sports car I've ever owned was a Mazda RX-7 Turbo II.

I'm counting on GM to make this Camaro a car that makes me forget about that car. (I've given up on a replacement for the RX-7 from Mazda.)

We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.

uh

I am the type of person who could careless what the next person thinks and always will be. I am getting this car for a few reasons: have always loved the beauty of power and speed, have been working my butt off to put a good downpayment so I can afford the monthly payments, and o yuh my dad, who is 50, has always wanted a ss, but never really could afford one. I am getting it, but the way I see it, its for both of us.
See ya on race day.

51 going on 18... I've always wanted to find my old '68 and restore it. Getting a 2010 is much easier, much more economical, much less work, much more modern, much more advanced, much better looking, much more warranty, well i could keep going but it's much too late in the evening. The 2010 Camrao embodies everything I could have ever wanted my '68 SS to be and then some. I believe it will be an instant classic. I have missed my Camaro long enough and the wait is almost over.

GREAT SCOTT!!!

Scott, "Mom" sounds like she rocks. Now I better understand where your enthusiasm for the Camaro comes from.
