You can never be too old or too young, as long as you love the car, want it, and are responsible, its there fore everyone. 48 is young, theyre just jealous, but if you can get a z06, get one, i was drooling over a silver z06 today, wow i sat in it and put all the lights

I'm 46 and I'm going to get the SS. Age really doesn't matter, I just get what I like and enjoy driving it. I might even get back into autocrossing.

after reading nUcLeArEnVoY's post, i realize that i've got more of the 'older guy' mentality even though i'm almost 23. i see the whole bad-boy-in-a-nice-ride image as just one of the perks of having a camaro... or any other muscle car...besides newer mustangs (every teenage girl & her brother has one). i definitely believe that this car is for 'kids' of all ages. i wouldn't mind having a corvette either, but getting a camaro instead is more of a matter of price, styling preference, and everyday usability than about age.

I'm 48 and have always been into classics, 72' Chevelle's especially. 3 years ago I surprised my wife for Christmas with a 2006 Conv. GT is was fun for her while it lasted but when I knew the Camaro was coming I set the plan in motion and got rid of it in March. Before I ordered I went to my dealership and test drove a 2008 vette with the Z51 suspension man was it impressive. She wanted me to wait a couple years before I bought anything (little did I know she had planned to surprise me with a vette for my 50th bday and we we're going to do the Bowling Green delivery) well I screwed up that surprise when I decided on the Camaro and I don't regret it one bit. You only live once so enjoy it while you can!!!!!

I was old enough in 69 to buy one new and did not. I won't make that mistake again.

This car is Ageless... only a few are..... 55 56 57 Chev, 64 Impala, 70 Chevelle, 67-69 +70 CAMARO. 63 TO 67 Vette. THE YEARS YOU HAVE A DRIVERS LICENCE has no bearing if you should buy this car.

OK, I'm 38 and I've absolutely loved the '68 and '69 Camaros since I was 15. I grew up with cars, motorcycles, and frequent trips to the drag strip.

I would love to have a '69 Camaro but honestly they are a lot of work and requires time I just don't have right now. So here comes the "Classic in Plastic" version of the Camaro and I'm like... Hell ya!

A kick car and a warranty? I'm all about having fun and being lazy at the same time!

I'm 59 and plan on buying a new Camaro, wish I'd never sold my '69 Z/28. I'll likely wait a while to see if a Z/28 comes out again and what it consists of, if I don't like it I'll get an SS.

The Camaro just doesn't give off a "young" vibe like the Mustang and Challengers do.

Those cars seem purely cosmetic. Like a "look at me in my sports car" type of thing. The Camaro looks like an honest to goodness street racer and at the same time sophisticated. It just doesn't look like the type of car some college sophmore would choose over a Mustang.

But hey, it doesn't matter. I'll be 36 in two months and this'll be my first pony car. I'm gonna look damn good in it too!

You there, stop your 'I'm too old' balking! My flipping MOTHER is buying her 4th Camaro after her Edge lease is up. This would put a 1LT and a 1SS in the drive at the holidays.. XD

So yeah, you are never too old, my family is evidence enough.

BTW, I'm 21, she's 50. Pappy's pushing 51 and still holding out for a Z..

And why not? 2-3 years of insurance rape is well worth the final product, my friend. That's why this baby is replacing the 'plorer after I get out. Plus that Cobalt may get you a pretty penny on trade in as a GM disciple.

46 and too young to have bought a new 69 (I was 7).

I bought my 02 used (1 owner) but saw several new ones delivered at the dealership, always wanted to order a "new" Camaro.

I've had lots of other Camaro's ..a '70 Z-28,'69 z-28,a couple of 67's, a '68 L78, a '70 L78, an '02 SS, a 77 Z-28, an 81 Z-28, a '71 SS 350, and a '84 Z-28.
Some were new (within a year), some were old, some were restored, some were drivers, some were museum pieces.

They were all fun in their own way. I don't think you're ever too old for a performance car, the years seems to melt away when you're in the driver seat of a camaro.
