For me its a temporary solution until this fall when I get new tires and a powder coat.
So you can actually peel it off? Wouldn't it come off when ou wash it?

It shouldn't come off unless you physically peel it off intentionally. Think of it as latex that you see people paint on their body, it doesn't come off until they peel it.

Well I powerwashed them today and its all intact. But somehow during the night I unplugged my phone so my battery was dead. But first thing in the am Ill be taking pics if its not raining. And thank you everyone for the props. I really cant afford new wheels until the fall. And I like the stock wheels just in black anyway.

how long does it take to dry to handle? and if you do mess up, how hard is it to peel off? it seem like its stuck on the surface pretty sticky and it just look like it will be hard to peel off if even the power wash does not make it tear.

Wow. I can't believe there aren't any pics yet with the wheels mounted on the car. [Anxiously awaiting]

I have never prepped for plastidip besides making sure they are as clean as possible. Thats the entire reason behind it instead of paint.

gotcha. thank you for the response. i've never even heard of plastidip before. so i wasn't sure about the process. gonna purchase a can and hit my tail light bezzels which i painted black with spray paint and now they are beginning to peel off.

thanks a bunch.

Well if thats the case the old spray paint needs to come off. Because the plastidip will stick to the spray paint but if the spray paint isnt adhering to the bezel it will fall off and since the dip is stuck to the spray paint it will come off with it. Scuff then spray in that situation. If you had fresh bezels you could just spray them.
