Actually there was over 6,000 dealers at last count. But yea I agree. With the dealers V6 showroom cars being built 1st, any constraint placed on CGM because of the Impala's will be lifted well before the 1st preorder ever touches the production line.

My dealer told me that they were only informed of how many orders they can place in the first allocation. he said that no orders have actually be submitted as of yet.

For those of you that like BLACK. I live 1 block from the GM Tech Center in Warren Mi on the major shortcut to Mound road going north for those that get let out on the north side of the complex. Just seen a black Camaro today pass by my house on Chicago road. Seen it out my office window and ran to the front to see it pass by as I was hollering for the wife to see it. Looked REAL nice. Can not even remember the wheels on it, I was looking at everything else as it was coming and going. I was at the NAIA show and sat in one and seen 3 there. We are in for a treat. Mike
