Yes, RT only matters in bracket racing. That's one heck of a reaction time. Did you leave on the third yellow or the second? You should always leave on the third unless you have slow reaction.

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I didn't walk around, I stayed next to my car the whole night. I was in the White/Orange striped 2010 running in the stick shift lane. Only performance mods are flowmaster cat back and the hurst short throw.

Was the guy there in the while 2010 Camaro with green stripes? He's a really good bracket racer, uses electronics to assist and he has a blower in that thing. Check out his plates if you ever see him up there, that's how good he is getting off on the tree!

What exactly happened to Josh's car? Engine or other part of the drivetrain? I guess that will help him make up his mind about a crate or built motor that much faster. What was his best time before he blew? I see a high temp of 93 on one of those time slips, that's too hot to be running boost without a good fuel system and tune.

Typically I was leaving on the third green. I just kinda count to myself. Also this week I was using the e-brake to hold the car from rolling like it did on me 2 weeks ago. I'll be going next week again as long as i get off work on time.

Sounded like the clutch when i talked to him. That was his second run. I think he ran like 13.2 first run? Don't quote meon that though.

If it was a clutch, he was on borrowed time since the max HP you can expect to push is 500 out the back before it starts slipping or disintegrates.

I hope it's not to bad for him! This months Hot Rod Magazine has an article on what breaks on these cars and they have a picture of an engine block with a hole in it which is a total loss other than what you can get for it as scrap aluminum.

Yeah Josh mentioned it sounded like it was coming from directly under his shifter so I don't know, that's the only real way he could explain it to me...

Yeah 12.90 isn't bad considering I've never even done a burnout in my car prior to taking it tonight let alone race it...

One of the week spots on this car is the output shaft on the transmission, could be that or a drive shaft or axles. I hope it's something he was going to replace anyway. Where did they pull is car from to get it off the track? I'm looking for a tow hook since there are no good places to hook onto these cars.

I only have borla xr1 long tubes with catless atak, cai induction and a diablo sport tune.

Are you NOT allowed to run without muffler? I got pulled aside on my way back and the guy started to get shitty saying I was running too loud and asked if I had cutouts. He then crawled under the car cause he didn't believe me and then noticed I had muffler. He says ok well Damn this car is loud as shit. So it confused me to say the least???

Mufflers are required at night up there, they are pretty strike at Infinion. You don't want to piss off the rich folks up there in their vineyards!

Gotcha, so many people complimented my exhaust then there was that track guy who got kinda pissed... There were a couple 9.80 cars running alcohol and this guy said I was loud? Give me a break already...
