OK how about in all honesty, losing some weight if you are kinda big? I went from 320 lbs to 220. And someone on here said 100 lbs = 10 HP. So my car gained 10 HP before I even bought it

Absolutely not. I'd strip the interior to the bone before I did anything that would damage the drivetrain.

He said FULL tank, now I'm assuming your talking about the fuel pump that's pretty much the only thing that will fail prematurely, which usally kick's in with less then 1/4 tank of gas so in theory you could leave less gas in the car (did this many of times at the track) and still not "hurt" your car.

Actually, he said "only keep a couple gallons in it." Assuming couple means two - that's 1/10 of the tank. Even with 3 its still less than 1/6. Running maybe a half tank when you go to the track is fine, but only a couple gallons?

I think not.

I like your logic. tho I dont consider it 100lbs = 10hp, its more of a 100lbs =1/10sec.

lt1 bolton record fbody only had around 346hp.... weighed around 2900 lbs... so thats 800 lbs from stock... so +80 hp.....making the car to have 426hp.... awesome. lol

no, but you could have the block and tranny cnc'd that will shave off a lil weight and take off any sharp edges that will make the them stronger
