Id be embarassed to sit around a show in a New car, you got what you deserved and can quit Boo-Hooing about it.

By any chance did you read the whole OP? It was not a "Classic car show". It was a car show being sponsored by Ky Klassics Car Club. They took $15.00 reg. fee from folks in cars that were not going to get a fair shake and they new it. So from the get-go your spiteful post loses it's credibility from your first line. I'm so very happy to hear that you are one of the few that believe that car shows are lame, and lastly, since your comprehension skills are apparently lacking, I was not boo hooing that I didn't win you ass, I was talking about (repeat), the folks who pocketed $150.00 from 10 guys who they new they had no intention of giving a trophy too!

There always has to be at least one, and I congratulate you for being that ONE!!!!

If there was no modern class and I was a judge, I would not award any new car a trophy.

Again, There was no posting, either in the paper or at the show itself that there were any catagories.

Obviously, if there had been posted catagories, myself and the other 9 modern vehicles have no recourse!!!

All im saying is Id never expect to win a trophy for something you can see at your local dealer. As far as charities, I contribute to those of my choice.

I hear ya. I do not go for the trophy (my 8yr sons dose) he hangs out at the car with his head held high it is great to watch him talk about it. I like seeing all the cars and talking to the people. I also do not think you can see the same things at your local dealer, people do all type of unique/personal things to there cars, the ones at the dealer are all the same just different color and you are not shadowed by a salesman. so it is different,As Far as the trophy (if there is a modern class) why not expect to win? if you are proud of what you have new old or otherwise. But do not expect it in a classic show. My sons face lit up when he won first place in a mordern class this past may. so it is worth the time/moneyto see that and how proud he was going up and getting that trophy. As for the OP , He is right the ad should have been clear on what was acceptable to be there. That is what his rant was all about.
