At least the voice wouldn't say, "You're too hot, please cool down."
or: "Nice run, now you're out of juice, please un-cap and refuel"
:sm0"

I think that the driver's line of sight problem is the perfect argument for including a HUD. I know it usually doesn't include information other than speed, tach, and gs, but there's no law that says it can't.

As long as you can turn it off, I think it should be standard. If it's an option, I will definitely get it.

As I posted earlier in this thread, a GMC Acadia owner told me that her HUD even had the outside air temp in it (I did not see it so I can't verify), most anything that has a gauge or sensor could possibly be added to the HUD.

What would be really nice is a simple interface where you could choose which information you wanted to display on the HUD, and maybe even the layout it was displayed in. I'm not sure how that could be done well without some sort of touch screen, which I'm almost positive the Camaro will not have.

Not WTF. HUD. I wouldn't mind seeing the G meter as I'm going down HWY 9.
