Here a 2012 ss vert dash with 94 miles on it

Can someone make a kit for the dash, to make it look like a 2012

I prefer function > form. Just get me some SPARCO seats and a "racing steering wheel" and Ill be good to go.

1. - it infuriates PETA

2. - each person has a 'gotta have' that they'd love to see on the car - if we give everyone their 'gotta haves' the Camaro will have a base price of 30K...

3. - most car buyers keep their cars for 4 or 5 years. Some Camaro owners like to keep their cars for 35 years. The I.P. in a Camaro is meant to last for quite some time. Calf-skin? not so much............

The team was given a mandate from the public: make the car as close to the concept car as possible.......which we did. The I.P. looks very much like the concept - except that the concept had all kinds of exotic metals on the I.P. - metals that would seriously deform your face should you be foolish enough not to be wearing a safety belt. The "plastic" that you see meets all federal safety standards........and it's durable.

I understand that perhaps you don't care for it - but also note we've made changes for the 2012 model year...........

We listen to everyone - but at some point, we have to make hard decisions......

I actually really like the fairly simple dash layout in the camaro. I almost waited for the 2012 model because of the updates to the interior, but heard they were dropping Cyber Grey from the color line up so that made the decision for me. Don't regret it at all. I like the '10-'11 MY gauges better, the steering wheel MUCH better cause it is unique to the camaro, and don't mind not having the soft-touch insert... However, down the road I may get the entire lower dash leather wrapped as well as the the center console...

If anything, it's easy to clean. Everything's plastic these days. "A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore."

The sooner a means is found to obtain the stitched alcantara insert from the 2012, the sooner I can actually mod the dash how I want. But patience was never a virtue I was good at.

Good choice. I would know.

But if anything they'd put fake wood in or something, and that'd be lame...

In a not so recently pass a well known world car brand did a huge study on what their potential clients would like to have on a new car , to date they are still working on the details , about looks , shape , texture , colors and feeling to the touch . In the meantime the potential buyers have moved on .Moral of the story no one can please every one .

How about the 2012 interior with the 2010-11 steering wheel. I think that would look best
