Just watch out for undercover cops guys they drive anything and everything these days. I seen them in minivans, small cars like huyandai accents and in muscle cars, it's pretty scary to think about...

V6 or V8, that doesn't make a difference. Idiots buy Mustangs. Idiots buy Camaros. If you can't drive responsibly on the street, IMO, you're an idiot. Don't be an idiot.

Had my son not been in the car I would have showed him some serious Chevy muscle. It seems like every idiot I encounter wants to race my Camaro. Anyone else have this happen to them regularly?
All the time when my 5 year old is in the car. I even had some moron here who had his kid in his car wanting to race. Kid looked no older than 3-4 years old.

Sorry I would never put my kid in danger thay way of a street race. Some people I just dont get as to why they would do that with kids in the car.

I dont support or do any street racing at all.

You are not alone i get people almost every day trying to race, but i think its because my car sounds loud and it temps them. The only person i would race would be someone with the same amount of horsepower or more to make it count and in a race track. Gas is to expensive to show small cars they cant beat me.

Yes, but to them they think they beat you.

What frustrates me is that it never happens when Im driving. However the few times I've let my husband drive it around town it seems like every idiot in our county has to get up next to him and try to start something. If you're going to try and pick a fight with my car at least do it while im driving so I can roll down my window and point and laugh.

I think most guys don't get any satisfaction from "beating" girls, and I think the assumption is that a girl driving a Camaro SS is just doing it for the coolness factor rather than for performance driving.

I personally have not seen a woman driving a performance car like an idiot and I think most guys haven't either, so the assumption is that a woman will never respond like an idiot when challenged at the lights. Kudos to the self-control of women.

But to be fair to men, machoism is displayed throughout the animal kingdom by males. It's due to a chemical that is absent from females, called "testosterone". Generally it's the young bucks that are full of this stuff. So if you're a male and have self-control - don't pat yourself on the head for self-control, it's because you're over the hill and have run out of testosterone.

Lol this thread is very entertaining. And I may have had more people than I know try to race me, but luckily I have an idiot filter installed. Since my car is loud even with my cut outs closed, I have the entire cab dynomatted. So either I have to have my windows down or you have to make some serious noise for me to notice, other words I am simply not aware you are trying to race me and that is fine.
1. Get what you want
2. Drive how you want
3. Just don't endanger anyone else
