I think it fits the car ,when you have a 8 second car you need a kool hood right . I would suggest having it wraped, its a lot cheaper than painting and it will be hard to match the factory green. You can get creative and you can always change it down the road. This is one we done for our sixspeed record GTO

Was at Vengeance yesterday for a little work (MGW shifter and stainless brake lines) and got the chance to check out the car. Awesome! You can't go wrong with that hood whatever color you paint it. I even heard it run for a minute or two. It sounded angry and hungry for some Mustangs or really about anything that might get in the way. And the windsheild installer was there so now you won't get bugs in your face when you fly through the traps at a hundred zillion mph

Wow that looks good! I actually like the black, I think it might loose some of it's aggressive look if it was painted to match the rest of the car.

Love it, any pics with it open/underside of it?
I vote in favor of painting

Seems like a lot of hood for a mid ten second car!

It does look F'in bad ass. Goes with the car and the owners attitude. I'm all in!! I'm more surprised you didn't try to have it modified and add about 6 more inches to the cowl. They could call it the "Diamond Bill Special"!!

Lol...what we are actually going to try and do is build a functional cold air intake. Procharger Centris have an air filter that sits right over the headers.....the back of that cowl is open so it wouldn't take a whole lot of fabricating to come off the back of the Procharger and build some kind of lid or compartment that seals against the hood and pulls cold air in from the back of the hood.....this would be in street trim unless it proves to provide no restriction at all at the track.

I've got an idea for that:

No, just saw them yesterday. With a little fabbing, one side could work to feed the intake, the other to vent heat.

I'd really like to see what happens when you drop the temp to the intake by 30* and then to the intercooler.
