Test drive dealer liars

I had my first test drive on Saturday and it couldn't have been more different. Of course, that's probably because I've already got one on order. I called ahead to make sure it was available, introduced myself to the first guy who met me inside, and got in the car. They were actually keeping it outside, unlocked, keys in the ignition (I know it's kind of a small town, but holy crap people, be more careful!). I'd say the tapshift shifts about as quick as a manual would. I only tried it at one light - there was quite a bit of traffic and I had to spend most of the drive at a steady 35-40 mph. The fact that your over-the-shoulder view is totally blocked was pretty weird to me.

The sound system was a little confusing. You're gonna need some time with the owner's manual to really get the hang of it. The USB reader organized my songs alphabetically by song title, and I'd much rather have them arranged by artist/album/track. I'm sure that's something you can set, but I didn't want to spend that much time in the dealer's parking lot fiddling with the stereo. The base sound system is all right. I'd like to hear the Boston Acoustics system to compare.

At the end, we left the car sitting unlocked in front of the dealer with the keys in the ignition, again.
