I believe Deki was stating specs for the 5.0.... for 30k, etc...

And of course the Boss 302 is different beast... its forged robust internals are more than ready for some serious power adders too. Oh btw I agree, I think that Chally in OP's pic may have been an R/T model with the 5.7 Hemi. The SRT8s normally do not have those twin banner side stripes but instead have the twin rally stripes overhead, etc. Here is an example of Chally variants- R/T vs. SRT8. I test drove both earlier this year... sweeeet rides as well.

It is nice to have a few choices.

I dont care which YOU choose, but its nice to have the freedom to pick between a Camaro,Challenger,Vette,Mustang,Viper, even some of the Cadillacs.

A regular GT gives the M3 a run for its money around a track, let alone a Boss.

I just picked up my 2013 GT500 for $35,000 and my 2013 boss for $32,000

I was talking about a base 5.0

I am not sure it was a true SRT. It had the rear spoiler SRT emblem, but it had RT stripes. I didn't go verify the Challenger model. I was more interested in the Boss and talking with its owner.

I like all three, I like the Mustang looks nice =] . I would rather have the 1LE for the price of a Boss though. The Ford Dealerships are placing a 5 to 10 K markup locally...

Modern musclecar wars- competition and choice is good! They're all winners in one form or another. Some previous articles and vids...
