I have afm on the camaro and my '08 tahoe with a 5.3 and don't mind it. I can tell more on the camaro than the tahoe when it kicks in and I still have the stock exhaust on both. I do have a cai on the camaro and it growls pretty good under hard acceleration but is a nice quiet ride when you are just cruising. I might tune it out once the warranty is up but that will be a while yet.

With a system like the American Thunder Cat back you can definatley hear it...and the vibration is so bad you feel as if you are on the rumble strips...not a good combo at all......had AFM tuned out now its much better.
