muffler

did the muffler delete at my friends pipe shop on both mine and the wifes car. personally i love it on my manual but when i hear the wifes auto it does not sound as good. when you get on hers its fine but at low rpm on the auto sounds weird when afm kicks on/off. not suffering any power loss to my knowledge

did you get rid of the resonators also?, i did.

i feel like i might have lost a tinny wee bit of torque. it might be in my head though after reading all these posts about loosing torque after getting rid of the mufflers.

Anybody that feels like they have lost power due to the delete. Do the fuse pull. I did and my car is up to speed now.

L99 or LS3? I though that it doesn't change anything in the LS3...?

Ls3. It does help the ls3 too. Second time I have done it. Dealer put in 87 when I got it. Felt quicker after both pulls and shifted better.

Had my muffler delete done this morning, wow what a difference. this is how the car should have come from the factory.I don't get the point of having a muscle car with such a quiet exhaust.

I think it's going to kill my gas mileage tho...because my foot is going to be stuck to the floor.
