HUD Fading in and Out. 2013 issue? HELP

I have no clue about the HUD problem, but the fan speed issue (well non issue I guess) has been talked about before and I think it is the same across all the model years, you can turn the fan off, but it never really goes off, and for those of us without the mylink you can never turn the LED off regardless of where it is positioned. I think this is what you may be referring to?

No i'm Not talking about the led. When i turn the fan on, it still says off on the screen and the speed says 0, even thought you can change the fan speed and the fan is working. It happens sporadically.

I'm yet to have the HUD problem, (hope I don't) but I do have the fan speed problem occasionally.

I also have the fan speed issue.....and my car is a 2013 with MyLink and Nav. the dealer won't do anything about the HUD until they can see what is going on, I am hoping that the video will help to expedite that. I have not had a chance to get the video from my phone and post it yet. I will try to get to it soon....stay tuned

yes A/C fan speed. I almost began to think it was heat related because it was happening when I came out to my car in the afternoon after baking in the sun all day, but it happened the other when cool and in the garage.....very strange to flip on the A/C and have it say "OFF"

I had that happen. Then started changing colors. Died soon after. Had to get the whole thing replaced. Took 5 days .


They said it's the first time they ever had an issue with a HUD

Haha 5 days? I've been waiting since June 17th or so to get a rear end put in my car...guess extended repairs run in the bowtie family

I've experienced the fan speed problem. Dealer says a SW fix wll be needed.
