Anyone have any suggestions for dropping a 2012 SS convertible? Was looking at Hotchkis 1", but would like to use BMR if they will work as well. I know it will be a little lower in the rear due to the added weight of the convertible. Any thoughts?

Hotchkis and BMR are both great options. On the vert, I tend to lean a little more toward the Hotchkis as you can get a more level stance.

On the coupe, the Hotchkis have somewhat of a rake. They say 1" all around, but it's generally more like 1-1/8" F / 7/8" R, so on the vert it pretty much levels out.

Best regards,

Thanks, I definitly want level, no back sagging. The BMRmust have a higher spring rate in the rear than the hotchkis.

I ran BMR 1" drop springs in my car before I decided I wanted/needed compression/rebound adjustability and went to coil overs for road course track days . I was very happy with the BMR 1" drop springs on the street as well as the track. In fact very happy with all the other BMR products I purchased and have on my car. Quality products and 1st class company.

Nobody likes the H&R springs for their ZL1's eh? Looking at options to drop her a little and I have used H&R in the past on other cars with very good results. I would like anyone who has used the H&R springs to share their results/feelings please
