Well, that's why I said it would need a little tweaking... But the 'general' mean squinty eyed look looks good imo.

Sorry if i had to choose, id still go with the concepts quad tails..

That said its a decent idea just tooo futuristic, maybe on another more modern car..

'Futuristic' and 'modern' are two words I'd use to describe the Camaro myself.

thanks so much for the comments everyone. good, bad, middle, it is all very useful to hear, i appreciate it.

as you can see i am new posting although i have been lurking for a few months.
friendly question - is it ok to post these renderings in this thread?

i have been struggling trying to like the stock camaro5 taighlight treatment -
i really want to like the back as much as the rest of the car, but i cant fake it.

one more question -

the way i fall in love with designs falls generally into 3 categories:

1. pretty much dislike it right away

2. neutral, then the design grows on me the more i see it (happens rarely)

3. love it right away , usually continuing to fall more in love as time goes on ( 08 malibu, new suburban as examples )

which of the above applies to you?

slight revision - mindz- i like the warthog idea - it tried tilting the lights, it wasn't workin for me, but i had a few responses to y'alls suggestions

one more thing - the back end looks better to me on the show/early concept cars than on the prototypes , i wonder if some of the coolness didn't translate to the production version. - i know the protos can look awkward for a while, so i am givin it my open mind.

Those taillights look good to me also.

I was option 3 when it came to the Camaro. Loved it right away.

As for the prepro rear vs concept. I still like the prepro better.

The back end was changed a little bit to meet crash and safety regulations which the concept did not meet.

Guys there is no Sector 7!

*whispers* Psst... if you say that the black suburbans just drive on by.

I like the afterburner affect, it's looks very cool and future-like! I'm a gadget nerd so I would so add the afterburner to my tail lights!

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that was a Pontiac Firebird concept with those taillights....
