not to start a fight but u will get valve float at 7000-7500 these are factory valve springs not racing springs. just because a tach says something doesn't mean i will go that high. also the cam is not designated for high rpm you will actually loose power if u go higher. take a look at a stock dyno graph you can see the tq curve drop rapidly. the rev limiter is there for a reason don't mess with it unless u have properly built the engine for it. i say this not from reading books. i have built ls1/ls6 and are very familiar with the lsx family. not to mention they are not that balanced from the factory to run above 7500 rpm. again no to start a fight just some information for thought.
