I just looked at the specs on the 305/35/20, and it appears they are the same width as the Goodyears(which is good), but they list the weight as 37lbs. Can that be real? If so that one heavy ass tire. Goodyears 32, and Goodrich 37......

What do you guys mean by the weird turning behavior? And any rubbing with the 285's in front?

I find it kind of hard to describe but... Initially there is a quick bite then a little loose feeling then grippy again. 285's are fine on the front if you have the ZL1 / 1LE-fitment wheels.

Question

Do you think that the Pirellis will be a better option or the Michelin Pilot SS? Some rubbering reports have been made by some MPSS users, because they are wider

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you're looking for something to drive in all weather conditions including temperatures below 40 degrees then the BFGs are your best bet. The P Zeros and PSS are both summer-only tires but the PSSs have much better grip. Also the PSSs are a bit better in the rain than the P-zeros.

I forgot that those Pirelli P Zero were my old crap tires, that came on my '11 Mustang GT with the Brembo package. I hated those tires, they handled well but had a premature short life, I replaced those with Michelin Pilot Super Sport and it was a night/day difference, much better handling in dry/wet, they endured the double of the crap Pirelli's and very good handling at the track, I sold that car still with those great tires. I really miss them now that I have the stock GYs that comes with my ZL1, those GY are very slippery on wet and on cold weather did not gave me any confidence.
I hope that those BFG turn to be a good all year sport tire option, I wonder how they will behave on a hot track.

At first I was thinking they may look to aggressive(meaty) when they were off the rim, but they look good when installed. Haven't drove much but definitely noticed a softer ride/ not as bumpy compared to the Goodyear G2. Looking at these pics makes me want to get coilovers now!!! Front 285/35/20 Rear 305/35/20

Man, gotta see those! Appears they have the 'rim' edge to protect the rims. Looks good!...
