Other than onstar, what type of anti theft device would you use?

Internet tough guys, and girls now I see, crack me up!

First of all, the only thing a gun might help with as an anti-theft device, is against a car-jacking. And in that case I'm willing to bet that if a thug or two jumped into their car at a stop light or in a parking lot that 99% of these people would get flustered and not even be able to get to their gun.

Having 20 guns and posting pictures of them on the internet is a lot different from real world gun play. Especially if the perp is also armed and shooting back at you.

Also, hopefully you all know your state and local laws regarding justifiable use of deadly force. In many places you need to prove that your life is being threatened. You may just find yourself in a sh!tload of trouble for killing somebody.

I wonder how many of these people carrying a firearm illegally are on here. It is truly funny to see how citizens think that a "gun" will deter a thief.

Just out of curiosity for those of you whom claim to carry a weapon to deter thieves, how do you do it? Live in your car and hold your firearm? Tape the gun to the window so people know you are trying to deter them? Or put a cute little sticker/decal somewhere that displays you are part of a weapon club/ or owner?

LOL these responses, the typical all American freedom fighting blood staining die for your country enthusiasts.

Not this exact one, but something similar. So far, everyone I've handed my keys to hasn't been able to find it or figure out how to start my car. No matter how much time I give them.

Onstar is junk.

you guys are just using this thread as an opportunity to post pics of your guns. the size of someones arsenal doesnt make a difference. cars are rarely stolen while the owner is able to see it

I actually had an attemped theft. They poked a hole under the drivers door lock, and released the latch through it. When the factory alarm sounded, they ran off. I had to pay a $500 comprehensive deductible for repairs, but I still have the car.

If it was a pro, the car would been gone. If a novice, any alarm will deter them (usually).

Guys on here em posting guns get real this ain't ****in Mad Max but nice try. I live in Califoria where simply carrying a loaded gun will get you prison time. Insurance is your only choice. I've had things stolen from me although it wasn't an entire SS Camaro but it stung nonetheless.

In before the lock....While I won't get involved in all the anti gun talk, I will say that I depend on the factory alarm and the locked garage. After that is why I pay $4800.00 a year in insurance. And the insurance also covers the gun safe...just sayin

I just posted mine because everyone else was posting there's.
I work with criminals all day long. Talking to a few vs working directly with them as your career makes a huge difference. Most often they wont tell you jack shit.
