Average is around $200 to $220 for a Camaro. And which guarantee clauses are you talking about? Warranties? Warranties can be voided for 4 main reasons. Accident Misuse or Alteration, Enviormental or After market chemicals, Insufficient Maintenance, and poor gas quality.

And as for dis-information.. GM is usually the one that gives the dealer the info to begin with. Don't believe me, ask to listen to your tech call tech assist and see if you can make heads or tails of what they are saying

What 4k profit? 4k over msrp?? There are plenty of dealers selling at msrp (which is where the $1,700 came from in my earlier post). If a customer pays over msrp of course that's clear profit!! Anything over msrp is putting that money right in the dealer's pocket to do with as they wish.

OR if the poster had a trade-in and they grossly undervalued it...that could add to the profit margin...I'm betting it is an over-msrp deal though.

Yhea, we have a tank farm here in town and you can just watch all of thm pull up to the same tank and fill the trucks. Most will carry thier companys "secret sause" and you'll see them dump it in the tank so it will mix up. Most fuels are the same.
