The lf3 pump is due in on Thursday and got a custom cam follower due in Friday.. I have an appt to drop on tues 20th....

Well after going back to gas, because of very annoying issues, I was able to make some passes today that had almost the same exact, down to the most minute detail, conditions as previous E85 runs.
Here's the rub; E85 is worth 9 hundredths of a second and about just shy of 1 whole mph... There were a couple runs where the mph wasn't affected, which tells me that the hp isn't nessecarily increased as much as the torque is. Especially early. It is noticeable early to mid in the incrementals. By half track no noticible difference.

FYI: I'm averaging the numbers out. There were pluses and minuses in all directions on individual runs...

13.34 on gas. 13.60 on E85. Huge difference in weather conditions though!!! Haven't had optimal race conditions since the switch to E85. The run on gas was with mineshaft conditions with a tailwind to boot.

I'm planning a rear end / gear change over the winter, but I don't think getting out of the 13.30's is going to happen.

Dennis, who do you have doing your engine work ? I spoke to Derek last week, and am thinking of going E85, but want to deal with a shop , that will do the work right the first time, and knows what they are doing. There is a shop in St Pete that I am going to on Thursday...Thanks Bill
