Ted stopped our tuning effort because of the low fuel pressure, and says he's seen quite a few weak pumps. He also stated his personal car is much like mine and doesn't use an aftermarket pump or a BAP.

I have seen this issue in a couple threads. I'd rather not install a BAP, I'm going to verify the fuel pressure using HPTuners and if it confirms the low pressure I'll swap the pump for a new GM unit and retest.

No cam or lower pulley. Honestly, if I could find a snout with a stock upper pulley I'd swap it for the 2.55" and put the stock injectors back in it. I know counterintuitive to most of the posts here on the Camaro5, but it would make my life much easier.

Well... This has been an up and down ride with this car and it looks like it's coming to an end. The regional service manager made it clear that there was no warranty on the engine, as was guaranteed when we bought it, the dealership has agreed to the take the car back. We are working on a deal on a 6th Gen convertible and I hope to have the deal done today or tomorrow. Anyway, y'all have been pretty cool to listen to my issues and offer suggestions and I appreciate it. I'll pop in an see what y'all are up to now and then. Have fun with your rides!

Sorry you had such a sour experience, but glad you're getting what you wanted. Good luck.

Gotta be impressed when a dealer steps in and does the right thing in this situation. I have a good friend who had to take Lindsay Chevrolet to court to get them to buy his Camaro back. Almost same circumstances.

Good luck with the new ride, Buck. Those Gen 6 'verts are nice!

Finished up late but here is the 2017 2SS A8 convertible in Night Fall Grey with magnetic ride control and dual mode exhaust. The dealership really stepped up to make things right for us and give a little extra to sooth the disappointment. We're going to miss the power of the LSA, but it's great to know we are protected.

Very nice and congrats! You will miss the raw power of the ZL1, but the new 6th gen SS is no slouch. Glad it worked out for you.
