I'd like to know if you need to add slip diff addititve also. I just put in RP and lucas oil during the diff. fluid change so I'm going to switch out to amsoil probably tomorrow.

RP has the additive in it! If you put anything else, you'll need to verify if it has it in already, else you'll need to add it. I did mine today - only put in the RP.

You're welcome. Post your impressions of the way your car drives and sounds inside after you change the fluids.

RP for me from the coolant to the rear end and I'll have an Automatic. I did have a question, I am having all my fluids changed to RP when I get my car setup with the new exhaust and Vortech, which should be between 500 and 8, should I wait for 1500 for the dif, or will it be OK to do it at 800? Maybe just do it again at say 3800, with the next oil change the cost isn't much I think that would do it might even help. Any feedback?

After seeing what came out of mine, I'd say do it at 800 and I can't think of a good reason to change the diff again at 3800 unless you're racing.

Just changed mine today (1331 miles).. was suprisingly very easy compared to other vehicles I've done it on.

Took almost the entire bottle of RP 75W90. Had to wedge a straw onto the bottle to reach the diff fill hole... but all went well.

Don't hear any difference.. maybe i should do my transmission as well.
I did notice though when i go into neutral the car seems to coast farther then it has before in the same stretch of road I usually pop it into neutral.

I did everything at the same time so the trans probably makes the most noise which is why I heard such a difference after the change.

I want to use RP but

I am coming up on 1,500 miles and want to change the 6M Trans and the differential out to RP.

Just to double check to see that everyone that went with the RP Synchromax trans fluid and Max-Gear oil is happy with the results before I order it.

Yes, those are what I used. Be sure you have some kind of oil pump to fill the tranny fluid! It ain't easy to get a bottle in there!

I can't say I noticed any major sound changes - did the rear diff 1st, then the tranny. But no complaints either!

Thanks for the pump heads up...
Any other noticeable improvements since switching to RP?
