Whoa. Strange to have the engine compartment so dusty for the release. And again how strange that the V6 is so much better dressed up than the LS3/L99.

On the other hand it could work out well for those that 1) Want the V6 model anyway and 2) Want a V8, but have to settle for the V6 due to $$$.

The people in example #1 don't have to feel they are driving a less attractive vehicle. And the ones in example #2 can feel they ended up with the better looking vehicle despite not having a V8.

That is assuming they prefer the V6 bumper to begin with.

I like both, but lean toward liking the SS bumper more.

... I've said my peace.
Yes, that's how I feel. The larger lower opening looks fine. It's the grille itself that is ruining it. Make it closer to the upper grille and recessed some and it would look great.

I'm HOPING that since I want that grille from the Red Accessories thread that it will also come with an appropriately matching lower grille.

Yeah I agree with both of your posts. It just seems really important for some reason... it does not look finished.

Maybe thats a reason we havn't seen an SS around here... I'm sure we'll get a pleasant surprise soon

Otherwise, the V6 and the V8 are cars that I've been dreaming about since the Concept in 2006. Amazing what a car can do to you huh?

Yeah I've never seen those red things alone. Non-American market required reflectors? If so I feel really bad for all the rest of you.

Preproduction cars seem to have plain undetailed lenses on the taillamps, the production version has a stripe of reflector prisms molded into a line across the top edge of the lenses.

I'm guessing they needed reflectors to be legal, so they stuck some on the bumper.

This is the international version though... not the American version remember that...

True, but since the lenses on thatcar appear to have NO reflectors on them it makes sense they would need to put them somehwere to be legal. The production lenses have them built in and they're much nicer looking than stickyback bike reflectors.
