Hey bro, your car is my twin so I definately feel your pain. As long as this car is the hot car you are gonna get attention, positive and negative. At work my car is the only yellow car in a garage of about 500 so people instantly zoom in on it.
Hope your insurance steps up...

Welcome and yes, I too wish it were under better circumstances. My suggestion would be to get a beater to drive to work. You just can't trust your investment will be safe while you are away. Maybe I'm just OCD.

Just wanted to let everyone know that everything is now fixed and I'm grinning once again. Just waxed the car again the other night. There are 1 or 2 very minor scuffs in the interior dash... but in a way, this whole incident helped "break things in", so to speak. In other words, now I'm not as worried about future scratches/scuffs... or maybe I'm just telling myself to feel better. lol

Thanks for the support everyone! I think I'll try to make this be my last post in this thread so that it doesn't keep showing up and reminding me of bad times. ^_^ If anyone has any other questions about the breakin, repair, and whatnot, feel free to send me a PM. Of course, if people keep posting here, then I'll gladly answer.

By the way, 1CAMSS, to answer you question about the window indexing, I found another thread where someone was asking sort of the same thing and responded there:
