![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() OK, I guess I see a little resemblance after looking at them side by side - couldn't visualize it before. I retract my initial statement. Regardless, they are all very nice!

I think it's the side that really carries the strongest resemblence... It's the front fascia that I find to be "all new" or atleast very altered... and the rear end always makes me think of a vette.
The side however.. I think has an uncanny resemblence when you ignore the rest. Maybe this will help you stretch the imagination ![]() ![]() ![]()

I think the lines all flow quite similar except the 2010 drops lower all around as it carries a lower stance (more modern design for a better center of gravity)
The line along the hood flowing up past the bottom of the window to the trunk (them big ol hips) is pretty similar, granted the windows on the 2010 are squished more. The center line through the middle of the side of the car is still there , just thrown off by the new wheels which dwarf the old school in comparisson. I see lots of resemblance on the front too though with the way the nose comes to a point, the location/width of the grille & to some extent with more stretching... the lights/fogs... But thats definately more stretching. For me though yeah as illustrated in the quick chops of your examples... thats where I see the most I think. Agree though, all are very nice cars. |

Yeah, I guess it's really all in perspective. Being influenced by the 69, I tend to see the similarities more. High rising hips of the rear quarter panels, the gills. I read somewhere that they used the exact angle of the 69's front grill on the 2010. I can see where some would look at it and say they don't look too much alike though. I guess that's part of the genious of the design. Moving forward and being innovative while giving a nod to tradition.

To bad the gtr can bend the camaro and make it's bi•••. Still the camaro looks way better but gtr is a really good value better than the maro IMO. I will still be buying a maro though
