I havent released the classes yet because we are going to have some Cash paid out for different ones...and the tuners have their own little wars going on between them...lol..I would say by the second weekd of January it will be all together. Are you wanting to know Drag racing rules in general? I can help you out with that now.

Can I race for fun? If someone blows something I can stand in with my stock SS?

We will have open test n' tune in between rounds for those who just want to make runs down the dragstrip without the pressure of "racing"

Hey my last post above was number 1000. Is it true that IOM is the fastest color? (had to stay on topic with a question)

You mentioned internal mods would be a class for racing....
Do you consider a cam swap an internal mod?

Because if a simple cam swap puts somebody into that category, they are going to be running against some all forged high boost types of vehicles.

If that is the case, then that class is going to be way out of whack. A guy who built a heads/cam or just cam car may be getting about 500RWHP, but a forged internals blown motor can be getting 800-900!! That does nto make much sense to me....

And no my car does not fall into these classes, but it is something that I had thought of.

Just wait until 60 days before the event and the class breakdowns will be released. If someone has a cam and is blown...how do you possibly think that they would be in just the internal mod class? This is not the first event that involves Drag Racing that we have put together. Also a few of us setting up the classes including myself compete in NHRA Div2. So rest assured everything will be okay

Im not for sure but id say the internal mod class should be seperate from a power adder such as a blower. 1320 could answer this. He among others are setting up the rules and classes for the fest.

Exactly, I don't know why anyone would think otherwise at all.

I have a question about the C5 Fest?

Hey, I saw on here about how there is going to be a Camaro 5 Fest in April and I didn't think much about going until I saw it was in Georgia. Since the drive won't be so bad I think I might try to make it out there that way. I saw that you all had people signing up though on the main thread for it. Do I have to sign up to attend or can anyone just come and go as they please? I didn't post this in the main thread because I didnt want my question to not be answered and I didnt know how fast a response would be. Anyway thanks for any info you can give me!
