Maybe the dealer can add the cushion to the addenum sticker for $195 along with environmental package of $595.

If it's $650 + to fix a design blunder they knew about, there will be a seat going through someone's window.

If someone has a clue how to handle customer dissatisfiers, there will be a letter to every owner explaining a no cost correction that can be made at their dealer. Not holding my breathe, just saying if they have a clue.
The fact they ignored it once, put's that clue question at highly unlikely.

the thing is it is not an issue with many owners, so not everyone is a dissatisfied owner... even if they offered a correction I would not take mine in, we are happy just the way it is...

By the way the car also has rear visibility issues, do you want them to put larger side windows to help with that?

I did do a 1" spacer and although it fixes the visibility issue, now the seat squeaks! Wife is happy she can see, I am NOT happy I have to listen to a squeaky seat!
Please GM make a retro fix for this!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you just raise the back? I was thinking about that. The back mounts look easy to space, but the front is a hook and channel.

OK, so maybe not a letter to everyone. How about a bulletin to the dealers and only those with an issue can get it done?

I just hate taking someone for a ride, and instead of them enjoying the ride, they just give me an earfull half the trip about how low they are sitting.

Good reason the leave them at home. It had to be a married man with a short nagging wife to okay leaving out this option.

hmmmm . . . but the pedestal would need something on the seat to plug the height control into, and the seat does not have it?

and the pedestal is probably backwards; not sure if the wires would reach the controls on the other side?

How did you do this? Just some spacers and some longer bolts? I am curious how difficult it is.

Drivers side pedastal does the height too, nothing else on the seat itself. Forward and backwards, up and down is not changed by right or left. Look at your drivers side panel..has two holes, template that side, cut the passenger side vertical switch hole, insert switch from pedastal. Power is already there since you have power for the back of the seat to move.
I'll get it done this spring and show a post how to like some of the ABL posts.

BTW: $650 is not bad for GM to not do this, plus the cost of labor. Look how many are ordered withu out the whole power seat set up! GM did just fine, it cna be an upfit option for those wanting to spenf the $48,000 on the car, which is far from the majority.

Better than 1" risers by a guy out west following the blown mad man through the canyons (inside joke to icntdrv55)
