There's apparently no rhyme nor reason to RPO designations. Z** RPO's are everything from spare tire to fuzzy dice for your rearview lol.
Alot are conversion and appearance packages tho which could carry suspension mods. A few variations...(Remember RPO code interpretation is an art more than a science)

Sad but true!!
That's because the Z06's are prolly stock. Throw a 100 shot on a Z06 ,slicks, and a good driver and say 'good bye' to your GT500.

If it rolls to the track on a trailer...I'm afraid...other then that....supercharge it and smile...because you'll win 9 times out of 10.

Stock with a monkey behind the wheel.

I don't even think the Z06 needs mods. Just needs the driver mod.

I think it's also important to remember that we never had confirmaton of a supercharged model. We don't know that the supercharged Z28 is dead...in fact, we never knew that the Z28 was going to be supercharged at all! This speculation is a double edged sword; it can be fun if it's something you want or are interested in but can be disappointing if not.

Not sure if anyone has seen this but Fbodfather said this yesterday in response to a "Z28 is dead" thread on another site:

All: it ain't dead! It's on hold. We must rethink EVERY entry -- car/truck/crossover -- simply go look at the sales figures for July and August - if that isn't a 'reality slap in the face' -- nothing is!

I'm just gonna stick to keeping the faith about the Z28. I really have my heart set on one and little by little I'm starting not to worry so much because this car is still months away from being released and by the time I'm ready to actually buy one it will be mid 2010. By then GM will of had enough time to scan the market, their sales over the last year to 18 months and there should def be some sort of legitimate answer if theres gonna be a Z28. If not the LS3 is badass I mean 422HP stock and a good 500+ with just a cam swap, exhust and intake?? I'm sold either way. But at least then I'll know when ever I go to buy my camaro IF there will be a Z28 on the way or not.
