stew i love how they trash me but leave you alone....it's a cold world out here. but we just have to sit back and laugh at all the assumptions. it's real funny though.

that makes a ton of sense

it's slower by 1/10s of a second lol if that boosts the ego of camaro owners so be it lol.

and for the record I have always stated the obvious when it comes to the challenger, hence why I am still on this forum. But lately it has been getting real bad, so captainkevin to the rescue! lol

Basically, so 3888 for the SS and 4149 for the SRT, that should be better

It is because of the above statement and those like it.

Completely inaccurate.

I'm dying to see it in person. So far, the Deep Water Blue is my favorite color. But I've always loved blue cars.

Still wrong buddy camaro SS is 3849 not 3888. Where are you getting your numbers. Now I see why no one pays you attention.

that the challenger isnt the boat that everyone claims it is here in the straight line category. it is neck and neck with the camaro ss. but im not going to get into that because I really like this forum, and although i know the mods love me here they will ban me if things get out of hand.

No it was the point that first he rounded up for the camaro and then down for the chally to try and make a point and when called out on it he still post false information to try and make his point. So hes not using any numbers but his own. He could go to the offical chevy site and get the CORRECT numbers.

Don't use that as a cop out. This is not Challengertalk. People here expect you to back up your assertions.

Actually was just rereading the Motor Trend handling article where they tested the SS and it stated the weight of the their 6 speed at 3888 so there buddy

holy moly lol. I have backed it up more than 100 times already....

the auto challenger srt8 does 0-60 in 4.8, 4.7 in manual......even the rt does 0-60 in 5.1......these cars are not as slow as many of you claim. Also im not going to sit here and say that 0-60 numbers make a car faster than the other. it does not....with these cars being VERY close in performance, it usually comes down to the driver. if both drivers were the same then the camaro WINS, but unfortunately cloning isnt mainstreamed yet so it comes down to the better driver. all i want is credit given where credit is due. Not this notion that the challenger is automatically subtracted from comparison to the camaro and mustang. i guess you can push it to the side when you bench race, but on the road there's none of that.
