This is Fresno all over... There are a few that are loved and taken care of, but not many

It maybe that you guys don't acknowledge us. I like to give a thumbs up and say "nice car" but I've gotten the stares from 5th gen owners that are kind of are trying to say "f*** off, you know that I'm better than you".

My daily driver is a 4th gen 97 V6 silver Camaro and I still love it. Sure it's nowhere near as fast as my 2010 SS but I have to give thumbs up to any 5th gen I pass! It's the history and passion of the car line I love! All gens rock! I just passed 2 third gens in Toronto on the way to work today!!

I've enjoyed all of the feedback from everyone.

I love all Camaro's, but I've had too many 4th gen guys act like morons out there on the road once they've spotted me.

99.9% of the time I get the “thumbs up” from everyone... I have only had one 4th Gen want to race and that was a young kid; did not oblige him.

Had the same thing happen. Only it was a dude about my age. Wouldn't leave me alone. And he was not being cool about it either. He was a punk. 4th Gen Camaro and had an attitude.

I didn't race him of course, but by the sound of his exhaust, woudn't have been too hard.

On the other hand so many Mustang owners have given me thumbs up. I'm happy about that

I'm usually too busy taking in the beauty of the 5th gen Camaro to give a thumbs up. I'm also hoping to make the switch to a 5th gen Camaro in the next year.
What they said. I have found on a couple of occasions that some 5th GEN owners can seem aggravated if they find out they aren't the only game in town but for the most part around here 5th GEN owners are cool.

I know what you mean because I've seen it first hand. I on the other hand enjoy seeing all generations of Camaro and I try to wave or give a thumbs up. I actually had someone in a 4th Gen last week flip me off. As I was passing him I looked over and nodded and waved and he flipped me off. I just laughed even though it left me wondering why someone would be like that.

I just drool a little (a lot) and give them a thumbs up or wave if we make eye contact.
Problem is, I see very few 5th gens here...
