actually my insurance went down after getting the Camaro.......didn't like my American Family price (been with them for over 18 years!), switched to State Farm and saved over 1200 a year for better car / home coverage

You sir, are not looking at the whole argument. You've set your mind to believe that anyone who doesn't drive their new car as a DD is a 'nancy boy'.

I didn't even mention all those 'first owners' of their well kept 1st-4th gens, who are probably some of the most car-knowledgable people around.
Actually the guy your post is responding to drives a Mustang, not a Camaro, which might explain his attitude.

Thats exactly what I did. I bought a '89 Jeep Cherokee to drive on nasty days, haul my dogs and go to Lowes in. I then traded my '06 Colorado on my Camaro.

Its not really having a DD and then the Camaro, more like 2 DDs. If it was sunny every day for 6 months, I'd drive my car every day for 6 months. If not, I'd drive the Jeep.

Its not stupid in the least. I think of it as taking care of something I love.

No sir my wife is behind me 100% , but then again we keep to each our own salary cause we make the same!

Frankly I drive mine every day (90 miles to and from work alone) and couldn't deal with having another car. I love my commute (ok, minus the other people on the road) because my Camaro is my happy place and I love driving her.

Of course, I don't have a wife (obviously) or a husband or kids to worry about....I just have snow :( -only reason I'm going to be getting another car this year is for the winter. (Tho now I'm spoiled so I want at least a nice winter car....)

The way I figure it - if I died tomorrow would I be glad I kept the Camaro garaged all the time? Hell no...

Has nothing to do with being a nancy boy as you kindly put...but why would you spend all that money and not show off what you have every day of the week...within reason of course. Breaking it out once a week for a few hours seems like a terrible waste of money.

Who says you can't have a well kept 5th gen just because you drive it everyday? What, do you plan on selling in in 10-15 years? I say, enjoy what you have...you'll enjoy it more.

Being a former multiple camaro owner...I never get tired of the constant bashing simply for driving a different car...let me go ahead and change my profile...then maybe you can find something else childish to say.

Drive it everyday all day!!! Why buy something you aren't going to drive? Did you buy it to sit in the driveway?????

Run it everyday, run it hard, run it long!! Enjoy one of the now 8 natural wonders of the world!!
