My wifes 13.70 was the fastest pass out of the N/A bolt on and stock Challys and Camaros that were able to run on Sat. afternoon. A 13.91 was the closest to her from the videos ive watched , most were low to mid 14s.

That sucks to drive all that way and only make one pass. How did the chalky crowd react to the results for the stock class?

Since they had planned on having the fest in the morning and it got rained out , the track gave us the option of running that evening. The problem was there were 3 seperate groups at the track trying to race. So they didnt end up running any classes it was more of a Test and tune with 2 lanes for street tires and 2 for slicks. I left the hood open quite a bit for people to see how stock my car is. I was warning most of the newbies about the weather conditions and how they could be up to a half second off compared to good weather.

Anyone get mouthy wit ya? Kinda sucks though, I was anxious to hear you run in Challengerfest to shut-up all the naysayers! Oh well, there's always next year!

Overall a pretty warm welcome from most all of them. Some teasing and nagging on the filters and fluids , that was to be expected. One guy really tried rubbing me the wrong way from the begining. Wanting pics of the (WORLDS FASTEST STOCK CAMARO) he said. I kept my cool and offered a few times to please check my car over since he flat out told me there was no way I ran a 12.58 stock. The more I talked with him , the more I relized it was just the way he is. Which is fine , I was hoping for a chance to lay down some good passes for the weather conditions against them , but my wife did a good enough job for now.

I would have told him the photoshoot starts at 5:00! Weather must have been bad up there for people to run low 14s.
