Another potential customer! I agree completely. The HRE wheels on my Z06 sell for about $8,900. I made it expensive for people to copy me, and so far nobody has. Wheel is fully painted cyber gray, has a thin silver pinstripe.

Im looking at $3k+ for what I like. Spending 35k+ on a car and putting Pep Boys wheels on it seems silly. Kind of like buying a 500k house and and leaving a torn up couch on the porch. Is just not right. Im not saying spend 5k on wheels just because they cost 5k. Do research and you will find several wheel manufacturers that build top notch wheels at very reasonable prices.

As far as originality, its always funny that some one gets rims and posts a picture and thinks they are the only ones on the planet with that setup. Do folks realize that maybe 5% of all 2010 Camaro's built are even represented on this site?

I agree, and we have wheels for any budget.

We carry over 56 brands of wheels !!!

1 piece cast, 1 piece forged, 2 piece, and 3 piece.

All you have to do is ask ....

That might be true for the cheaper and non-custom built brands, but since we deal with the actual companies that make the wheels we have a much better idea of how many wheels they have built for a 2010 Camaro. It is still very rare to see a new Camaro on nice forged wheels, most cars are still on stock wheels. I know for sure that guys like HRE, D2, and other high-end wheels know exactly how many 2010 Camaro orders have come in, and which wheels were picked.

I'm looking to spend just under 5k, with nineball's help. It would have been done by now if 565 other things just didn't blow up in my face. Mid summers dream now.... grrr...

All the camaros I've seen here in Washington and Oregon have the stock wheels. I'd like to set mine apart from the others and get wheels that I hope I'll not see on another. I'm waiting for my forged wheels to be made and arrive in the next couple weeks.

And don't forget about the tires. You have to add the price of tires to new wheels. That's when I change my mind and decide not to place the order.

Wheels + freight + new tires + tax = $$$

I just wish I could get a supercharger + install for around $5k. Now that would be a sweet deal.

To pay $4K+ for wheels on a $35K car is foolish IMO.
Don't buy TSW in chrome, they go bad fast and IMO they were not cheap.

At the end of the day , its what the customer likes. Its super hard to be different , when you post images of your car , and other people " LOVE IT " they are going too go the same route , but like 9ball said , there's alot of Camaro's still driving on the oem wheels.
