How much are people spending on Rims?

I'm just trying to get an idea of how much money people are spending on Rim's and/or wheel packages.

I've looked at Rim's for a month now and getting closer to finding the right design, but just trying to figure out how much to spend.

Way too damn much! But really for some good quality 20's at least $2500 - $3500. For 22's $3500 - $5000. This is what I have seen from my shopping experience. I got some 20's in the above mentioned price range.

Good luck, so much to choose from.

I haven't bought yet, but my budget is in the $1200-1500 range...

The last rims I bought listed for just under $400/ea, but I got them from Discount Tire as closeouts for $90/ea. Never hurts to inquire about discontinued models to see if there's something you like.

Price depends on:

1. Construction type (cast, 1-piece forged, 2-piece forged, 3-piece forged)
2. Material type (cast aluminum vs forged/billet aluminum)
3. Quality
4. Custom paint work or finishes
5. Diameters and widths
6. Brand name

JProbert's price ranges above are pretty good ballparks for quality forged wheels. The stock 20" wheels are going to be better quality than just about anything under $1500/set.

It all depends what your looking for? Cast wheels? 1pc Forged Wheel? 2pc wheels? 3pc wheels?

You get what you pay for most of the time.

One thing to consider I think is that these really expensive wheels don't seem to be for daily driving purposes. The finish doesn't seem to be as sturdy as a simple finish. Nicks, dings and scratches easier.

You get what you pay for and if you want to customize and make it yours don't buy cheap wheels to easy for others to copy and their are consequences to buying cheap wheels? And why the hell would you buy a discontinued wheel? There is a reason its discontinued
