I'm sure in the engine section we'll need a subform for FI as well....maintenance, etc....

Better to be organized up front and get all the good information catalogued from the start.
This has been discussed and 'how to'/advice type forums like you suggest will be made when the time comes.

You don't want to wash a California Duster. It'll strip it of the wax or whatever is imbibed into the fibers of the duster and will not work the same as before the wash.

Could all of you more experienced posters give me some do's and dont's....

for example......I always heard that you're not supposed to really put the 'pedal to the metal' until the car has a certain # of miles on it....how many is a general rule? Why?

To keep the exterior paint looking brand new is there some sort of treatment that should be done to the exterior? If so, how often should it be done?

Thanks in advance.....I have no clue what i'm doing!
I wouldn't even think of stepping on it at all for a dew days, get used to the car. The last thing you want is going to a body shop straight from the dealer.
