Moorepheus, I agree. Mine's # 98969 with a build date of late February 2010. I have all the same problems. Haven't had the clutch stick but I'm sure I could make it happen. I can't afford the down time or dealer BS right now which is why i'm babying my car at the moment.

I don't know what's worse, the clutch which doesn't feel like it's fully engaged and where it seems to engage is sporatic at best vs the herky jerky feeling I get, today it was really bad. I have an appointment Monday morning with my dealer. I can reproduce the herky jerky at a steady speed of 40-45 in 4th gear, it's pretty bad

Back from the dealer and of course they can't find anything wrong.....OPERATING AS DESIGNED.......huh? What really pisses me off is I told them the shifter is very notchy, binds and has gotten stuck half way into second before. They said they couldn't duplicate the problem and it's operating as designed. Ok, now it's time for a video:

crunchy! turn up the volume.......

How does my fluid look?....

Service tech at local dealer claims the "notchy" feeling is due to "beefy" synchronizers and is normal. Is this BS? I don't know. My drivetrain warranty is already history due to mods, so I think I will simply wait for something to crap out and replace with aftermarket once the aftermarket clutches get to a design point where the chatter/noisiness has been designed out.

to the video post, mine is the same way. I hate it! does it at a stop sign going into 1 too. Also reverse is really notchy, and a 1 to 2 shift forget it above 5000 rpms. I posted my VIN earlier.

I like Ranger's clutch maintenence article, http://www.rangeracceleration.com/Clutch_Care.html. However, I feel I should not have to do this on regular basis just for my slave to operate normally. This is a 2010 Camaro with 7k miles on it. COME ON GM! You say you wouldn't have paid off your goverment loan without loyal customers like us but you won't stand behind your warranty! Oh....you'll bend over backwards for the sale though, won't you? What good is a warranty if you're gonna keep brooming loyal customers to the curb and eventually exhaust the warranty? (especially the clutch warranty!) OPERATING AS DESIGNED! Well!.....you should fire the engineer who designed this clutch assembly because it's design like SH*T!:(

Driving a stick for 34 years and have never encountered these issues on a brand new vehicle with low mileage.
#A9171557
1. Inconsistent clutch engagement point
2. Burned clutch smell
3. Chatter
4. Stuck to floor twice
5. Engagement point changes after pumping clutch
I took it to the shop this week. They replaced the clutch assembly and found that the pressure plate fingers were bent and the troque was not right on the bolts. Went to pick it up today and it would not engage. Stay tuned to see what that is all about. I have 7k miles on it.

I always thought it was a little hard to go from first to second.
Went from first to second, clutch pedal stayed on the floor. Horrible smell.
Smell the clutch when backing out of the garage.
Actually seems easier to get it in first and second now, but, not nearly as easy as it is to go between 3rd and 4th.
I have owned an even number of automatics and sticks and I have never had any problems before.
Going to the dealership tomorrow morning to have it checked out.

I should also mention that I ordered my car in the spring of 09 and did not recieve it until Fall as it was held at quality control for 3 months.
Also unlike everyone else here, when the clutch stayed on the floor the car still went and I didn't even know it happened until I shifted to second..........

Our vin#A9107404. We had the clutch the flywheel and the slave cylinder replaced last year. When the tech was putting in the new clutch and bleeding the system, the new clutch stuck to the floor. We were contacted by the designer of the clutch to see what was going on with the car. The new clutch has stuck a few times on us, but not nearly as bad as the original. We have taken it in again just to keep a record because the tech wasn't working when we brought the car in. We also talked to Al o. at C5F about it and he said that he would get a rep to look at it. We still have not heard from him. Good luck everyone.

Had the clutch pedal stick on me yesterday.. (been driving manuals for the last 15 years).

Vin # A9211363

Situation

55mph on the freeway, hitting off ramp, coast (in gear) dropping to 45mph in 5th gear.

Off ramp continued for next 1 mile (to street) no cars in site.

Clutch in,shift to 4th, RPM to 5500, dropped clutch.

Clutch stuck to floor while car was accelerating (accelerator pressed).

Immediately let off accelerator and clutch returned to normal operation.

Like said above, I have driven clutches for 15 years and never had one stick to the floor like that, used to do that run in my truck (previous vehicle, V8, 5spd manual) all the time just to feel the acceleration.

That I am beginning to see common problems being posted about the clutch for this car is concerning.. I still have less that 1k miles...

If you had your clutch replaced that long ago, you probebly did not get the updated/revised Clutch/Pressure plate.

So, you are probably looking at replacing it again:(
